Where can I work after taking this course?

We will get you up-to-speed with the industry, so all doors are open to you once you’ve completed this course. Whether you’d like to work for a multi-national, non-profit, small business, or even freelance, you’ll gain the skills it takes to succeed. We’ll even get the solopreneurs among you ready to start their marketing adventures.

Our instructor has over a decade of field experience and has worked with businesses of all sizes, from solopreneurs to multi-million-dollar multinationals.

Since the instructor has worked with many students who were trained by colleges and universities across the country, she knows where the skill level of graduates ends and the challenges they are facing when entering the industry. Her goal is to bridge the gap to get you business ready.

Are we going to learn about the different social media channels?

Absolutely. We keep this our course content up-to-date, since digital marketing is always evolving and we will be covering a broad section of topics including Instagram (reels, best practices, tricks, etc.), Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and more.

Are we getting any certificates? Is that important in the industry?

You will receive a Certificate of Completion and if you wish, since it is important to have something to show for when you apply for jobs. In one of the last lessons of the course, we will also train you on how to present and showcase your newly acquired skills on your resume for the biggest impact.

I studied Marketing in the past; what is the difference with DM?

Marketing, broadly speaking is the action of promoting and selling products or services. Students who study “marketing” are usually introduced to various different verticals, such as market research, strategy, online and offline advertising, SEO, blogging, print, social media, video, and more.

Digital Marketing concerns itself with anything that is happening “online.” As such, we’re taking a deep dive into online channels and get you specialized in this field, so you can become a Digital Marketing Specialist who knows the ins and outs of content marketing, search engine marketing, social media marketing, online advertising, analytics, and video marketing.

These skills are highly desirable to businesses of any size, since digital marketing opens up the potential to reach a global audience, as opposed to physical stores who are limited in their reach by location.

I want to switch careers; where would this take me?

Switching careers is always an exciting step and we’re always eager to work with students from different backgrounds, whether or not those backgrounds have anything to do with marketing.

This course will take you much farther than most Digital Marketing courses, since courses by other providers usually focus greatly the “creative” side of marketing, while we also take a very deep dive into the technical aspects to solidify your understanding of digital processes.

I want a promotion. Would this be a good skill to be considered for a better position?

If this skill set will gain you access to a promotion is hard to tell without knowing all the details surrounding your career goals and expertise. What we can say, however, is that this skill set is highly beneficial for any individual who wishes to up their digital skills.

If you are currently working in a digital marketing role our course will certainly be beneficial because we examine the technical side of the programs you may already be using, explore search engine algorithm principles, and learn how to measure, track, and analyze success. These skills are greatly beneficial for any business and if presented in the right light (we’ll also cover that at the end of the course), your chances for landing that promotion are likely higher than before completing the course.

Can you name some companies I could work for?

Completing this program will give you the skills to apply to most intermediate Digital Marketing jobs across any industry (advanced jobs you will only unlock with the right level of field experience).

So, any company looking for Digital Marketing specialists could be your potential employer in the future. There are no limits.

The instructor has over a decade of field experience working with businesses of all sizes, including multinationals, and will be sharing her knowledge with you!

I am a small business owner. How would this course benefit my company?

As a small business owner you likely wear many hats, maybe even all the hats. This course will help you get up-to-speed with current online marketing practices and throughout the course, you can present your very unique technical challenges and get assistance from our instructor to help you conquer them (within limits of course).

Why invest $6000 when I can hire someone to do it? (cost/benefit)

For solopreneurs, the cost of this course will pay for itself in no time, since very often start-ups, non-profits, and small businesses only have access to “cheap” labour and as the old saying goes “if you think it’s expensive to hire an expert, wait until you hire an amateur.”

As a result, you can see this course as an investment into your future growth and profits.

If you don’t have the time to take this course or do it yourself, you can also consider hiring someone with a less than advanced skill set and have them be trained by us. We have done this many times in the past, especially for nonprofits who are bound by the “younger-than-30” requirements that come with wage subsidies. We truly are training pros and you can be sure that you’ll leave this course with an advanced skill set.
