“A Sprint to The Future – Innovation Summit, 2025” sold out among local youth. If you are reading this from overseas, you missed it. But don’t worry, we will be back in Spring 2026 with another Innovation Summit!
This dynamic program is designed for ambitious participants aged 13-17 who are ready to accelerate their future in technology, entrepreneurship, and beyond. Over three months and two action-packed weeks at The True North Powerhouse in Vancouver, carefully selected teams from schools, institutions, and individual innovators will immerse themselves in an unforgettable experience that blends academic rigor with real-world applications and cultural exploration.
Objectives
At The Urban Camp, we prepare youth for the challenges and opportunities of the real world. This program offers a unique chance for participants to dive deep into the tech industry and the Canadian startup ecosystem. Through a series of projects, including a pre-funk learning of 34 hours of online education, hands-on experiences, and virtual events, participants will engage with cutting-edge innovations and develop skills that will set them apart in their future careers. The innovation summit also includes an optional extra week in Vancouver or Whistler, allowing participants to relax more leisurely after the event.
Benefits
Participants will improve their English language skills in an immersive environment, applying them to innovative projects inspired by industry leaders like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Lego, and Airbnb. By working on these projects, participants will build confidence in their English communication, learn industry-standard practices, and gain valuable experience in teamwork, problem-solving, and soft skills essential for success in the tech world.
